With Hadrian’s Wall, the Lake District and southern Scotland all within easy touring distance, Rose Cottage is an ideal place to base a Cumbrian holiday. One of a pair of single storey cottages it enjoys its own garden. There is golf and fishing at Brampton (8 miles) and cycle hire, windsurfing and canoeing at Talkin Tarn Country Park, 9 miles away.
