On the fringes of the pretty village of Abererch and within easy reach of the lovely beaches on the Lleyn Peninsula, these two attractive cottages make an ideal base for a relaxing break. Standing back from the road in half an acre of garden and orchard, they are just 1 mile from Pwllheli where visitors will find not only an excellent weekly market, shops, inns and restaurants but also a leisure centre, golf and tennis facilities and an impressive new marina as well as a choice of beaches. Water sports enthusiasts will be drawn to the excellent facilities at Abersoch (8 miles), also a premier venue for the sailing fraternity. Departing from the town's pretty harbour, boat trips round the St Tudwals islands to fish or watch the local seals are also very popular. Cyclists and walkers will delight in the peninsula's rolling countryside, rising up to the occasional peak, affording wonderful views – on a clear day, across to the Snowdonia National Park, all of Cardigan Bay and as far as Anglesey's Holyhead Mountain.
