A paradise for wildlife lovers, bird watchers and walkers, this absolutely delightful cottage lies beside Hawes Water Tarn in the secluded tranquillity of Gait Barrows nature reserve. From the end of the long garden there are stunning views over the tarn (pictured). Silverdale village, with its shingle beach is just 1½ miles, Lake Windermere in the Lake District is a 20 minute drive, and excellent road links are only 5 minutes away. Leighton Moss RSPB reserve is on the doorstep, golf is ½ mile and riding, water sports and cycle hire are all under 5 miles. There is a shop and 2 dining pubs within 2 miles.
