In a picturesque village set amidst the outstanding beauty of the landscape near the Galloway Forest Park, this charming, comfortable cottage makes the perfect holiday base. Walking along forest trails and the Southern Upland Way, Water of Trool (pictured), cycle tracks, bird watching and nature reserves lie virtually on the doorstep whilst the town of Newton Stewart (10 miles) offers golf, 4 x 4 driving, pony trekking, cycle hire and fishing. The village boasts an excellent pub that serves good food and welcomes children, and there is a small shop on the caravan park nearby (March–September).
