Rats Hole, Mundham
Rats’ Hole is a charming, spacious, detached house in its own gardens, situated in the rural village of Mundham. It is a short car ride to the historic town of Bungay, where there are many antique shops, a castle and lovely cafés. For those who enjoy boating or bird watching, Munham is on the edge of the Norfolk Broads, and boat or canoe hire is available from Loddon (3 miles), Beccles (8 miles) or Bungay (6 miles). However, if you enjoy the city scene, Norwich is only 15 miles away, with plenty to offer. Also, Mundham is not far from the fine coasts of Norfolk and Suffolk, with Southwold being 20 miles away, famous for its local brewery, fantastic pier and unique shops. For those who prefer to stay at home, Rats’ Hole has an unheated, shared swimming pool, and lovely gardens perfect for relaxing or playing in. For the more energetic there are many varied local walks. Shop/post office 1 mile, pub serving food 3 miles.
