Set close to the owner’s home, it makes a delightful base from which to explore the many attractions of East Sussex. The nearby wetlands offer wonderful birdwatching and myriad footpaths afford lovely country walks. With its cobbled streets and beautifully preserved medieval, Tudor and Georgian houses, Rye is a delightful town seemingly almost untouched by time and where visitors will find interesting shops and eating places.
