The Granary, Skenfrith
Quietly tucked away on a working farm over which it enjoys attractive views, this newly renovated, little stone barn boasts an 'upside down' design and excellent location just under 1 mile from the castle, riverside walks and well known pub/restaurant in the charming village of Skenfrith. Only 12 miles away, and known as the Gateway to the Brecon Beacons, the bustling market town of Abergavenny offers shops, pubs, restaurants, a leisure centre and theatre. Monmouth is an 8 mile drive, whilst Hereford's magnificent cathedral and interesting shops are about 14 miles distant and Ross-on-Wye is 12 miles. Both the mountains and beautiful Wye Valley offer glorious walking and visitors will find superb Ryder Cup golf courses, fishing, pony trekking, cycle hire and canoeing (at Symond's Yat, 12 miles) are readily accessible. Tintern Abbey, Big Pit mining experience, floral Usk and Raglan Castle are all an easy drive.
