Ripon Cathedral, Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden are all close by, the delightful spa town of Harrogate is just a 40 minute drive and the city of York is only an hour away. Golf, fishing and riding are available locally and the charming town of Masham (4 miles) boasts a good selection of shops, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants.
