A bird and nature lovers’ paradise, these chocolate box pretty 17th-century brick and flint cottages are oozing with character and charm, and nestle peacefully on the edge of the nature reserve at Holme-next-the-Sea. Site of the famous Holme Henge, the village is steeped in history and is home to a popular dining pub (100 yards). Quiet lanes are ideal for cycling and walking and the Peddars Way long distance footpath starts just yards from the door. Hunstanton (3 miles) is the place to head for seaside fun, shops, golf, theatre and spectacular sunsets and nearby there are miles of unspoilt beaches to enjoy as well as pretty fishing villages and local seafood. Seal watching boat trips, Norfolk lavender, the Queen’s estate at Sandringham, King’s Lynn and Norwich city are all an easy drive. Shop 2 miles.
