Commanding superb uninterrupted views across the Solway Firth to the Cumbrian mountains, this Victorian mid row cottage (left of left photograph) offers a peaceful seaside retreat just two minutes’ walk from a sandy beach (pictured). Ideally located for honeymooners, it sits only 20 minutes from Gretna Green on a stretch of coastline characterised by wide expanses of mudflats, attracting wild geese and a great variety of seabirds.
