Skilfully converted from traditional farm buildings, they sit 5.5 miles from Aberystwyth, home to the University of Wales and national library as well as a fine selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and seaside entertainments. At the end of the promenade, Britain’s only electric cliff railway climbs to the summit of Constitution Hill for an amazing panorama of Cardigan Bay. A little train travels to the stunning waterfalls at Devil’s Bridge. Safe sandy beaches, boat trips for dolphin watching or fishing, Rhayader’s Red kite feeding station, excellent walking and bird watching and mountain biking in the Cambrian hills are all easily accessible.
