Approached along a mile long private drive across the highest reach of the Lincolnshire Wolds to arrive at the peaceful paradise of Poachers Hideaway, a small cluster of converted barns and cottages on a sheltered slope with uninterrupted long panoramic views over famously beautiful Tennyson Country. Five miles of farm footpaths invite walkers to further exploration of this lovely area and just one mile walk is the village of Belchford with renowned dining and pub. There are fishing lakes just below the cottage with both fly and coarse carp fishing offered. Horncastle, the premier antique centre of Lincolnshire with numerous vintage shops, restaurant and takeaways is 6 miles; Louth is 10 miles. Woodhall Spa with Kinema in the Woods and summer swimming lido is 12 miles. It is a half hour drive to both the lovely East Coast beaches, seal sanctuaries and nature reserves, and the medieval city of Lincoln. This is a wonderful location for exploring. Riding 2.5 miles, golf 3 miles. Cadwell Park 5 miles.
