Within easy reach are the cider town of Taunton; Honiton, a town full of antique shops; Clarkes shopping village at Street; the wondrous cathedral at Wells and the famous Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge. Just 35 minutes away is the Heritage Coastline and the resorts of Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Seaton and Beer, which boasts a particularly fine cliff walk to Branscombe with an excellent pub to finish in. For a good day trip there is Exmoor National Park (ANOB) to explore and enjoy. Five good pubs locally and shops/P.O. within 2 miles.
