This detached single-storey holiday lodge, originally built in 1760, is part traditional in style with many contemporary additions, and stands at a small crossroads of lanes in level countryside 2 miles from Wilberfoss village. Just 10 miles away is the magnificent medieval city of York with a huge array of visitor museums and attractions, Water World, cinemas and an excellent designer shopping centre. Pocklington, 4 miles, has a range of interesting shops and the Yorkshire Wolds countryside unfolds beyond. Castle Howard, Sledmere House and Nunnington Hall (NT) are all within a half hour drive, as are Flamingo Land and Eden Camp, and a little further is the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway in Pickering. Pub 1 mile, shops 2 miles.
