Set in the lovely wooded countryside of the Tamar Valley, on a working sheep farm with its abundant wildlife, this spacious, converted farmhouse offers very comfortable accommodation for larger groups. The attached small pub, run by the owner, provides a cosy place for an evening drink. (no food served). Just a short drive from the dramatic north coast dotted with numerous beaches and coves to explore, including Widemouth Bay, Bude’s finest surfing beach, walks along the coastal path or the canal. The coast path passes through the many fishing coves and quaint villages, such as Boscastle with its ancient harbour, Port Isaac and Tintagel with its castle of Arthurian legend. Just over the Devon border is the pretty village of Clovelly with its cobbled street running down to the sea and lovely walks at Lydford Gorge. The historic market town of Launceston is 11 miles. Watersports at Tamar Lakes and numerous golf courses are nearby. Shop 6 miles.
